To celebrate the Year of the Horse, I designed a collection of eight exclusive digital stickers for WeChat. Building on an existing artwork created for Chinese New Year, I reimagined the creative into a series of playful sticker designs inspired by traditional Chinese New Year themes and Year of the Horse symbolism. Initial concepts were generated using ChatGPT before being refined and developed in Photoshop and Illustrator. In addition to the sticker designs, I also created the collection banner used to promote the sticker pack within the platform. Once finalised, I used AI animation tools including Weavy and Higgsfield to transform the static illustrations into animated assets, adding movement and personality to the collection. The campaign delivered outstanding results, achieving more than double the number of downloads compared to the previous year's static Chinese Valentine's Day sticker collection. Performance data also showed a significant increase in sticker usage, with higher rates of sends and shares across the region, demonstrating stronger engagement with the animated format.
