Inspired by the street culture of Brick Lane, London, this custom 8-bit display typeface combines influences from graffiti, hand-painted signage, and the distinctive geometry of classic video games such as Tetris. The project explores the contrast between rigid digital structures and the organic imperfections found within the urban landscape. Built on a pixel-based grid, the typeface embraces both precision and spontaneity, resulting in a bold visual identity that feels nostalgic, playful, and rooted in contemporary street culture.
